From the Foundation President

Dear Friends of The Foundation,

For over 26 years, the Whitfield Education Foundation has been supporting the work of the Whitfield County Schools to provide a high quality education for our students. The Foundation has contributed over $635,000 to the schools over the past two decades in the form of innovative teaching grants to engage students in the classroom.

The work of the Foundation is contingent upon the continued generosity of our many supporters including school district staff, community members, and local businesses. Giving to the Whitfield Education Foundation allows your donation to have a direct impact on the success of students who are the future of our community.

The Foundation holds three major fundraising events to raise needed funds. The Annual WEF Golf Tournament at the Dalton Golf and Country Club, in its twentieth year, continues to be a favorite event among our supporters. Showcase of the Stars provides local student performers the opportunity to compete for cash prizes and trophies. The Celebrity Spelling Bee was held for the first time in 2013 and proved to be a huge success. The Foundation also accepts gifts in memory or honor of individuals.

Would you like to make a contribution to continue the tradition of excellence within our schools? For more information on how your contribution can make a difference, contact the Foundation office at (706) 217-6756 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
